The U-2, also known as the 'Dragon Lady,' performed a flyover Monday night.

A Lockheed Martin U-2 "Dragon Lady" reconnaissance aircraft conducted a flyover during the San Francisco 49ers' 23-17 victory over the Washington Commanders at Levi's Stadium on October 19. Beale Air Force Base confirmed the appearance, with military officials explaining that the mission was a coordinated event organized alongside the 49ers organization.
A spokesperson for the 9th Reconnaissance Wing stated that the flyover served as community outreach and provided aircrews with training in precision timing and civilian airspace navigation. Aircraft tracking records showed the specific plane returned to California on October 13 following a deployment to RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom.
