Bleacher Report's proposed Tigers-Dodgers Zach McKinstry swap is ridiculous.

Katrina Stebbins argues that a proposed trade sending Detroit Tigers utility player Zach McKinstry to the Los Angeles Dodgers is unrealistic and unlikely to happen under Tigers president Scott Harris. The proposal originated from Bleacher Report writer Kerry Miller, who named McKinstry as a potential trade target for Los Angeles this offseason.
Stebbins contends that the Tigers value McKinstry's defensive versatility and contract affordability as he enters his final year of arbitration eligibility. Despite batting .199 in 2026 after an All-Star campaign in 2025, McKinstry reportedly remains a key piece of Detroit's roster depth, making a trade improbable.
