Former India captain Harmanpreet Kaur broke down in tears during a mid-innings interview after scoring an unbeaten 91 against Zimbabwe on Tuesday in Raipur. Kaur, who recently stepped down from captaincy across all three formats, could not control her emotions while speaking to former India head coach WV Raman. Her 41-ball knock helped India secure a 92-run victory and seal a 3-0 T20I series sweep.
During the interview, Kaur thanked Raman for his encouragement and credited personal batting coach Himanshu for helping her regain form following a lean spell. Overwhelmed by emotion while giving credit to her coach, she handed back the microphone and walked off the stage before the broadcast concluded.
