The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Florida quarterback Kyle Trask to their practice squad, according to the NFL transaction wire. Trask joins the team as a direct replacement for quarterback Joe Milton, who was recently signed away by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Trask was most recently with the Carolina Panthers, participating in part of the preseason after signing due to an injury to rookie Haynes King. Despite an impressive showing by Trask in competition for the third-string role, Carolina ultimately opted to retain King and released Trask.
