With Deshaun Watson keeping Cleveland in contention, questions persist about whether Sanders’ next opportunity could come in another uniform.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders received a public trade warning from media analyst Zach Frydenlund following the team's 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Despite reports that general manager Andrew Berry prefers to keep Sanders, Frydenlund argued on ESPN Cleveland that statements claiming a player will not be moved often precede an actual trade, pointing to the prior offseason trade of Myles Garrett as precedent.
Sanders recently signed with Young Money APAA Sports, though Mary Kay Cabot reported that the move was not made to force a trade. Cabot noted that the Browns aim to retain all four quarterbacks on their roster, including starter Deshaun Watson, backup Dillon Gabriel, and rookie Taylen Green.
