Jalen Hurts’ health scare has become the biggest story in the NFL following the news that broke earlier in the week about his season-ending blood clot diagnosis.
Former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy shared internal details regarding quarterback Jalen Hurts' season-ending blood clot diagnosis. Speaking on the Speakeasy podcast, McCoy stated that sources inside the organization told him Hurts initially reported to the training room believing he had suffered a cleat injury to his calf during a game before further medical testing revealed the condition.
Hurts is undergoing treatment for blood clots in his lungs, prompting concerns over why the franchise allowed him to travel to London and play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In Hurts' absence, backup quarterback Tanner McKee started in the team's subsequent matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
