England back rower Jasmin Strange has been ruled out for the remainder of the Women's Rugby League World Cup due to a knee injury. The Sydney Roosters forward, who qualifies for England through heritage, suffered the tournament-ending setback after featuring in head coach Stuart Barrow's squad for the opening week fixture against Wales.
Strange scored a try on her debut against Wales, also contributing 116 running metres and 17 tackles. England will not call up an external replacement, with Leeds Rhinos back rower Lucy Murray expected to take her place in the starting lineup.
