Flick’s quest for solutions to Barca’s problems after Paris wake-up call

Thomas Mustac argues that Barcelona's difficult match against Paris Saint-Germain served as a major wake-up call, exposing tactical and defensive vulnerabilities ahead of Sunday's El Clásico against Real Madrid. The writer notes that PSG dominated early possession and neutralized Lamine Yamal, raising serious questions about manager Hansi Flick's strategy against elite European opposition.

According to the article, defensive injuries have compounded Flick's problems following losses of Eric García and Jules Koundé. Attacking midfielder Dani Olmo also suffered an adductor problem and is unlikely to face Real Madrid, leading the writer to suggest that Barcelona must pursue defensive reinforcements during the January transfer window.
