The New York Giants are cutting running back Najee Harris, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harris was named the starter for Week 6 under a committee approach, but he recorded just four yards on two carries across 11 snaps.
Harris joined the Giants for the 2026 season following a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Chargers. Through five games in 2026, the 28-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick totaled 99 rushing yards on 31 carries, averaging 3.2 yards per attempt.
