San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy matched an NFL milestone previously held only by Tom Brady following a 23-17 Monday Night Football win over the Washington Commanders. Purdy and Brady are now the only quarterbacks in league history to lead their teams to a 6-0 start while recording at least 15 total touchdowns and two or fewer turnovers.
During the victory, Purdy also became the highest-rated passer in NFL history among players with at least 1,500 attempts, posting a 105.6 rating. Through six games in 2026, Purdy has totaled 1,460 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, two interceptions, and one rushing touchdown while leading an undefeated 49ers squad.
