Wild's Nico Sturm is back a week after taking a puck to the head, and he explains the concussion protocol and why he feels lucky.

Minnesota Wild forward Nico Sturm returned to the ice on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers after suffering a concussion from a puck to the head on October 12 against Vegas. The 31-year-old center logged 10 minutes and 10 seconds of ice time in a 4-3 overtime loss while wearing protective ear guards.
Sturm avoided a severe fracture after Jared Spurgeon's shot struck his helmet, but he experienced delayed symptoms, nausea, and headaches. Following a hospital visit and standard concussion protocol steps including bike rides and testing, he was cleared to resume playing.
