Giants Trade Pitch Sends RB Cam Skattebo to Super Bowl Contender

Heavy writer Tony Adame proposes a trade pitch sending New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo to the Buffalo Bills ahead of the November 10 trade deadline. Adame suggests the Super Bowl-contending Bills could acquire the back for a sixth- or seventh-round draft pick to serve as a change-of-pace option alongside starter James Cook. The proposal comes as Giants head coach John Harbaugh appears to have soured on Skattebo following costly ball-security issues and offseason controversies.

Skattebo was benched without a single carry in a Week 6 loss to the New Orleans Saints after a critical fumble in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders. ESPN's Dan Graziano reported that the Giants coaching staff has soured on Skattebo, indicating New York may look outside or expand Tyrone Tracy Jr.'s role after previously releasing Najee Harris.
