Fernando Alonso has continued to voice concerns over the Honda power unit powering the Aston Martin Formula 1 car. Singapore posed another tough weekend for the Silverstone-based team, which has spent the new regulations at the back of the field.…

Fernando Alonso has called for an investigation into Aston Martin's Honda power unit following a frustrating Singapore Grand Prix. Alonso experienced severe drivability problems, turbo lag, and erratic energy deployment that heavily impacted his race performance. Alonso reported losing significant ground on straightaways and during Virtual Safety Car restarts, calling it an impossible task to compete. While noting the problems appeared specific to the Marina Bay circuit after clean runs in Sepang and Baku, he stressed the urgent need to resolve the issues ahead of slow-speed events in Mexico and Las Vegas.
