Liverpool starlet Rio Ngumoha says he has been inspired after watching Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon for England - and insists talks over a new Anfield contract are 'going well'.

Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha confirmed contract negotiations with the club are underway and progressing well while speaking about his development learning from England teammates Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon. The 18-year-old forward featured prominently in Liverpool's recent comeback victory over Brentford after earning starts under manager Andoni Iraola.
Ngumoha, who joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2024 and has earned three England caps, highlighted the value of adapting to play on either flank under Iraola. Meanwhile, teammates Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong are scheduled for scans following injuries suffered against Brentford.
