Pro Football Focus sees the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills as logical trade partners with Buffalo's need at the safety position.

Pro Football Focus analyst Bradley Locker proposed a trade linking the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, suggesting Buffalo should target safety Antoine Winfield Jr. to bolster their secondary. Writer Mike Moraitis argues that Buffalo needs an upgrade over their current starting safety tandem of C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Cole Bishop, especially following Gardner-Johnson's Week 6 ejection and suspension.
While trading Winfield would impose a significant $27.8 million dead cap hit on Tampa Bay, Moraitis suggests the 1-5 Buccaneers might consider moving the two-time Pro Bowler to aid a potential rebuild. Moraitis contends that acquiring Winfield would provide defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard with an elite, versatile playmaker to transform the Bills' defensive backfield.
