Former 49ers DT went to retrieve gun from vehicle in Titans practice dispute, according to multiple reports.

The Tennessee Titans released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following an altercation during practice with offensive tackle JC Latham. According to multiple reports, Elliott was told to leave the field after a heated dispute, stormed to the parking lot, and went to his vehicle to retrieve a firearm. Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers reportedly intervened and talked Elliott down before any further escalation occurred.
Security cameras captured the entire incident, which took place on Thursday, October 15. The Titans officially released Elliott on Tuesday following a review of the event. Elliott had previously signed a two-year, $8 million free-agent contract with Tennessee in March after spending two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
