BBC Sport have released a report that calculates that Newcastle United could have lost £60m thanks to the Man City scandal…

Manchester City's financial breaches reportedly cost Newcastle United an estimated £60.4m, according to a BBC Sport analysis. The calculation primarily centers on Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League in the 2015-16 season, during which they finished 18th. The report evaluated how lost points against City impacted rivals between 2009 and 2018, a period during which City was found guilty of 114 financial breaches involving disguised owner funding.
Across the nine-year period analyzed, Premier League clubs suffered an estimated collective loss of £844m, with Tottenham Hotspur affected most significantly at nearly £120m. Manchester City has appealed the verdict after being found guilty of using sham sponsorship contracts to obscure owner funding. Newcastle United is not seeking compensation or pursuing court proceedings regarding the matter.
