South Africa continued their remarkable comeback against Australia after a stellar Marco Jansen performance helped force the Baggy Greens to follow on after being skittled for just 99 on day four of the second Test.

South Africa dismissed Australia for just 99 in their first innings on day four of the second Test in Gqeberha, enforcing the follow-on. Marco Jansen led the bowling attack with 5-33, supported by Kagiso Rabada and Wiaan Mulder who took two wickets each. Steve Smith top-scored for Australia with 28 as five batters fell for single figures, leaving the tourists facing a massive first-innings deficit after South Africa declared on 425.
Forced to bat again, Australia finished the day at 156-4, still trailing South Africa by 170 runs. Travis Head led the resistance with an unbeaten 87 alongside nightwatchman Scott Boland, while Simon Harmer claimed two late wickets.
