49ers QB Brock Purdy is nearing the NFL's all-time passer rating record. Klay Kubiak explains why the milestone reflects the team's success and Purdy's play.

San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak explained that quarterback Brock Purdy's high passer rating reflects team efficiency, strong running, and overall unit cohesion. Purdy enters Monday night's game against the Washington Commanders with a 105.4 career passer rating across 1,495 attempts, just five throws shy of the qualifying threshold for the NFL's all-time top mark.
Both Kubiak and Purdy downplayed individual statistics, with Purdy crediting his teammates and coaches for his success. Kubiak also praised Purdy's fourth-quarter resilience in a recent victory against the Seattle Seahawks, where the quarterback recovered from a late third-quarter interception to secure the win.
