Warriors shopping Kristaps Porzingis could make Blazers a sneaky trade partner

The Golden State Warriors are exploring trade options for center Kristaps Porzingis, according to reporting from ESPN's Shams Charania. Porzingis is currently sidelined indefinitely due to a private health matter that could potentially threaten his career. Writer Reese Kunz argues that the Portland Trail Blazers could emerge as a viable trade partner to absorb Porzingis' partially guaranteed contract.

Kunz suggests that the Warriors could package Porzingis and draft assets to pursue veteran guard Jrue Holiday from Portland. While Golden State would need to include additional salary to match Holiday's $34.8 million cap hit, Portland could consider the move to stockpile future draft assets.
