Free agent guard Kobe Bufkin has agreed to sign a one-year, two-way contract with the Utah Jazz after being waived by the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. To create an open two-way roster spot for Bufkin, Utah plans to waive forward Blake Hinson.
Bufkin was the 15th overall pick in 2023 and has played 43 career NBA games while previously spending time with the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers. Entering his final year of two-way eligibility, Bufkin will be eligible to play in up to 50 regular season games for Utah.
