Chad Ryland's Week 6 award is the latest example of his turnaround season for the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance in Week 6. Ryland scored all 18 of Arizona's points by converting all six field goal attempts, including a 43-yard game-winner as time expired, leading the Cardinals to an 18-16 upset against the Los Angeles Rams.
Writer Reese Kunz notes that Ryland is experiencing a resurgent season, successfully making 14 of 16 field goal attempts through six games. Kunz argues that after carrying the team to victory, Ryland deserves the benefit of the doubt that his improved consistency will continue.
