Filip Hrgovic is moving closer to securing a heavyweight fight in Croatia against Frank Sanchez, promoter Frank Warren revealed to BoxNation. Warren confirmed his team has been actively working on fulfilling Hrgovic's dream of staging a bout in his home country, with an official announcement expected soon.
While Sanchez remains the intended opponent due to an existing obligation, Warren noted that plans could shift if a bigger opportunity emerges. Although Hrgovic recently entered the ring following Daniel Dubois' victory over Fabio Wardley, Warren clarified that no alternative opponent has been agreed upon yet.
