Man Utd in-fighting erupts as Matheus Cunha and Michael Carrick row off camera

Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha was reportedly involved in an off-camera confrontation with head coach Michael Carrick during Wednesday's 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como. Cunha was substituted at halftime alongside the introduction of Carlos Baleba and Amad. The loss extended Manchester United's winless streak to seven matches under Carrick as Cesc Fabregas' Como side dominated the contest.

Tensions at the club continued to surface post-match as captain Bruno Fernandes publicly questioned Carrick's tactical decisions regarding defensive pressing. Carrick responded in his press conference by criticizing his players' effort and commitment, stating their application was unacceptable.
