Former Middlesbrough captain Jonny Howson returned to Teesside as a special guest for a live event marking Boro's 150th anniversary. Hosted by The Northern Echo's podcast hosts Scott Wilson and Dominic Shaw, the event took place at Pitch Sports Bar in Middlesbrough in front of 150 supporters.
Howson was joined by fellow former players Craig Hignett and Andrew Taylor to reminisce about their Riverside careers. The 38-year-old Howson, who made more than 300 appearances over eight years for the club, shared behind-the-scenes stories from his time on Teesside.
