SENS ROUT PANTHERS, 5-1, IN BRADY TKACHUK’S RETURN

The Ottawa Senators defeated the Florida Panthers 5-1 at the Canadian Tire Centre on October 21, 2026, marking former captain Brady Tkachuk's first return to Ottawa. Despite Florida opening the scoring on a power play, Ottawa responded with five unanswered goals from Tim Stützle, Claude Giroux, Shane Pinto, Warren Foegele, and Stephen Halliday to secure a decisive victory.

The game featured a hostile home crowd relentlessly mocking Tkachuk, alongside numerous penalties and physical altercations. Goaltender Linus Ullmark exited the contest with an injury in the third period, prompting Samuel Ersson to enter in relief, while a late brawl between Tkachuk and Ridly Greig led to both players being ejected.
