Ottawa Senators goaltender Linus Ullmark left Wednesday night's game against the Florida Panthers in the third period after suffering an apparent lower-body injury. Ullmark keeled over after pushing to his left following a save and was assisted off the ice by Claude Giroux and the training staff. Before departing, he made 16 saves on 17 shots as Ottawa secured a 5-1 victory.
Backup goaltender Samuel Ersson took over in relief, stopping the lone shot he faced. The severity of Ullmark's injury remains unconfirmed, but an extended absence would impact an Ottawa team that relies heavily on his 7-1-0 start to the season.
