Fabio Capello admits he has been left baffled by the way teams have used 6ft 6in Nick Woltemade in the last 12 months…

Former England manager Fabio Capello criticized how Newcastle United utilized Nick Woltemade, suggesting teams failed to play to his physical strengths by not delivering enough crosses. Woltemade joined Juventus on a season-long loan with no recall clause on deadline day after being informed he did not fit into manager Matthias Jaissle's tactical system.
Newcastle sanctioned the loan to enable their £51 million signing of Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille. Juventus teammate Kolo Muani also praised Woltemade's hold-up play, noting his presence inside the box creates space and freedom for attacking partners.
