Tottenham urged to make move for Bundesliga star who ‘plays a bit like Miroslav Klose’ by European football expert

European football expert Andy Brassell has urged Tottenham Hotspur to pursue Eintracht Frankfurt striker Younes Ebnoutalib during the upcoming winter transfer window. Spurs scouts reportedly watched the 23-year-old Germany international score the decisive goal in a 1-0 win against FC Koln. Brassell suggested Tottenham could test Frankfurt's resolve following the departure of sporting director Markus Krosche.

Ebnoutalib has recorded six goals and two assists in seven matches across all competitions this season. Brassell noted that while the forward is not yet the finished article, Tottenham could sign him on a permanent deal and either integrate him or loan him out. Writer Rohan Sengupta argues that manager Roberto De Zerbi could refine the striker's raw qualities.
