Walker Kessler scored 26 points on perfect shooting with 10 dunks in his Lakers debut, earning a standing ovation and hilarious new nickname from Shaq.
Walker Kessler made a historic debut for the Los Angeles Lakers in a 127-105 season-opening victory over the Golden State Warriors, prompting Shaquille O'Neal to give him the nickname "Milk Chamberlain." Kessler scored 26 points on a perfect 12-for-12 shooting performance, which included 10 dunks, while adding nine rebounds and two blocks.
Kessler became only the second player in Lakers franchise history to make at least 12 field goals without a miss, joining Wilt Chamberlain. Lakers teammate Luka Doncic recorded 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists to help lead head coach JJ Redick's team to the win.
