Naples: De Laurentiis has already found a potential successor to Allegri

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly considering Vincenzo Montella as a potential replacement for Massimiliano Allegri following a poor start to the season. Allegri's position is under threat after suffering five defeats in the club's first nine matches across all competitions, marking Napoli's worst opening run in twenty years. Upcoming fixtures against Bodo/Glimt and AS Roma are viewed as critical tests for his tenure.

De Laurentiis has reportedly questioned some tactical decisions, including the attacking pairing of Giovane and Lucca in a recent defeat against Venice. Despite mounting pressure, Allegri defended his squad's performances and urged his players to channel disappointment into motivation.
