Giannis Antetokounmpo called for improved effort and trust after the Miami Heat suffered a 131-106 blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their season opener. Bam Adebayo highlighted a severe 17-to-4 offensive rebounding disparity and called for consistent defensive pressure, while head coach Erik Spoelstra noted that Miami must step up defensively and fix an offense that did not resemble expectations.
