Former Duke star Cameron Boozer struggled with his shooting in his NBA debut as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Utah Jazz 123-103 on Wednesday night. Selected third overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, Boozer scored seven points on 2-of-15 shooting from the field, missing all six of his three-point attempts.
Despite the poor shooting, Billy Heyen notes that Boozer made a positive overall impact, contributing 11 rebounds and five assists while finishing with a game-high plus-32 in 33 minutes. Ty Jerome paced Memphis with 45 points, while Utah's No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson finished with nine points in the loss.
