England captain blasts fastest double century in 55-year history of ODIs, off just 114 balls…

Harry Brook scored the fastest double century in ODI history, hitting 202 off 114 balls against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. His innings propelled England to 429 for 4, setting the highest total ever scored in an ODI in Pakistan. Brook became the first English batsman to score an ODI double-hundred, surpassing Ben Stokes' previous record of 182.
Brook shared a 159-run partnership with Joe Root, who scored 69, and an 185-run stand with Will Jacks, who added 66. Tom Banton contributed 50 as England dominated the bowling attack. With this innings, Brook joined Chris Gayle as only the second male player to score a Test triple-century, an ODI double-hundred, and a T20I century.
