The NBA season has finally begun, and MVP talks have already started after the first slate of games. For now, it’s still entirely too early to draw any final conclusions on the award race, but it hasn’t stopped fans, players…
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green stated on his podcast that Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum will never win an NBA MVP award. Green argued that both superstars are victims of voter fatigue because their elite scoring and high-level production have become normalized by fans and voters, comparing their situation to LeBron James during his prime.
Fadeaway World reports that Green instead picked New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson to win this season's MVP award. The outlet notes that while Doncic and Tatum consistently produce elite statistics, voter fatigue often shifts the award toward fresh narratives, potentially positioning Brunson as a prime candidate if his strong play continues.
