Ethan Nwaneri's younger brother, Emerson Nwaneri, was forced to play in goal during Arsenal Under-18s' 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur Under-18s. Goalkeeper Jack Talbot was injured in the 75th minute, and replacement Maximillian Lo Presti was also injured shortly after coming on. With no substitute keepers remaining, Emerson took over in goal.
Despite the unusual circumstances, Emerson helped spark the winning goal by initiating an attack that finished with Mylo Bernard scoring his second goal. Joel Vidal-Philbert had opened the scoring for Tottenham before Bernard equalized, securing a fourth consecutive league victory for coach Adam Birchall's side.
