Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal: The two European heavyweights played out an entertaining classic to make a statement, even if the result will likely be irrelevant in the long run…
Arsenal secured a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in an entertaining Champions League clash at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Alphonso Davies opened the scoring for Vincent Kompany's Bayern side before Arsenal substitute Eberechi Eze equalized following an early foot injury to Bukayo Saka. Harry Kane restored Bayern's lead from the penalty spot, but Declan Rice earned a point for Mikel Arteta's team by finishing after exchanging passes with Viktor Gyokeres.
Kane starred as both creator and goalscorer, assisting Davies' goal and scoring his penalty after Jurrien Timber handled in the area. The strike marked Kane's tenth consecutive Champions League match with a goal, bringing him within one of Cristiano Ronaldo's record. Both goalkeepers, Manuel Neuer and David Raya, made crucial saves as Arsenal ended their perfect group-stage run but showed strong resilience.
