The Kansas City Chiefs could trot out a third starting offensive line combination of the 2026 NFL season in Seattle. Wednesday’s practice offered few encouraging signs for a pair of injured tackles.
Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu is in line to make his first start of the season at right tackle against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. Starting right tackle Jaylon Moore remains in the NFL concussion protocol and did not participate in Wednesday's practice, while starting left tackle Josh Simmons also missed practice as he continues to deal with a back injury.
Head coach Andy Reid confirmed Moore's status and expressed confidence in Ezeudu, who was acquired in a trade from the New York Giants. Ezeudu stepped in during Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers following Moore's injury, playing 17 pass-blocking snaps and allowing only one hurry.
