Using the 2022 Juan Soto trade as a blueprint, Cole's hypothetical proposal features pitching prospect Cam Caminiti and outfield prospects Eric Hartman and Conor Essenburg. To supply major-league talent, Cole argues Atlanta could offer starter Spencer Strider, or alternative pitching prospects Ethan Bagwell, Brett Sears, or Owen Murphy.
