South Africa secured an emphatic innings-win over Australia to level their three-Test series with one to play.

South Africa secured an emphatic victory by an innings and 31 runs against Australia in the second Test at St George's Park in Gqeberha, leveling the three-Test series 1-1. Despite a morning rain delay and losing frontline bowler Anrich Nortje to a suspected groin injury, the Proteas bowled out Australia for 295 in their second innings shortly after tea on the final day.
Australia had been forced to follow on after being dismissed for just 99 in their first innings. Although Travis Head scored 121, Wiaan Mulder claimed three decisive final-day wickets and Kagiso Rabada took 4-77, ensuring the series will be decided in the third Test starting October 27 in Cape Town.
