Coventry City news from CoventryLive as Frank Lampard opens up about French duo in his pre-match press conference ahead of Fulham…

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has clarified that French forwards Yann Gboho and Loum Tchaouna are not injured or facing disciplinary issues, despite missing recent matchday squads. Neither featured in the lineup against Tottenham on Monday night, with Tchaouna also absent against Newcastle United. Lampard explained that both players are fully fit and training, but simply require time to adapt to the team's tactical demands, standards, and training methods following their arrivals.
Tchaouna signed from Burnley for £19.6 million, while Gboho joined from Toulouse for £10.3 million, but Lampard dismissed suggestions that high transfer fees guarantee starting spots. The manager stressed that with 24 fit players competing for limited places, selection decisions are difficult. He confirmed both players have full internal support as they adjust to the demands of the league.
