Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has praised Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze's professionalism following his decisive display in Wednesday's 2-2 Champions League draw against Bayern Munich. After being substituted at half-time against Nottingham Forest in Arsenal's previous fixture, Eze came off the bench to replace the injured Bukayo Saka and scored the opening goal at the Allianz Arena.
Lampard used Eze's response to recent squad rotation as an example for Coventry winger Gustavo Hamer and his own players. The draw preserved Arsenal's unbeaten Champions League start after Declan Rice later equalized following goals from Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane.
