The Atlanta Braves' influence on this year's World Series is being felt in both dugouts, with both the Brewers and Rays having former Braves players.

Ahead of the 2026 World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays, only two former Atlanta Braves players are expected to feature in the games. Milwaukee catcher William Contreras enters his first active World Series appearance as a central star, slashing .367/.457/.700 this postseason. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay infielder Jorge Mateo serves primarily as a pinch-runner and defensive substitute.
Several other former Braves could still receive championship rings due to regular-season contributions. For the Brewers, Bryse Wilson, Jonathan Ornelas, and Braden Shewmake played during the season. On the Rays' side, Jake Fraley and veteran reliever Craig Kimbrel made regular-season appearances before being released later in the year.
