Indianapolis will welcome back Tyrese Haliburton, who helped transform the Indiana Pacers into contenders, while Cooper Flagg will look to continue his emergence for the visiting Dallas Mavericks when the teams square off Friday.
The Indiana Pacers host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, marking Tyrese Haliburton's first home game in 490 days following a torn Achilles. Haliburton returned in Indiana's season-opening 123-120 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans, recording 23 points and 12 assists alongside teammate Pascal Siakam.
The Mavericks enter the matchup following a 128-110 opening loss to the Houston Rockets in Dusty May's head coaching debut. Dallas features reigning Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg, who scored 32 points against Houston, as well as Kyrie Irving, who recently returned from an ACL injury.
