Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey apparently went to the T.O. school of media relations.
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey strongly defended quarterback Lamar Jackson against what he characterized as media slander and unfair treatment. Humphrey made the comments after reporters asked how Jackson looked during practice following an ankle injury. Humphrey questioned the coverage surrounding the quarterback, suggesting the lack of an agent might contribute to Jackson having fewer media defenders.
Jackson, who missed the previous two games with an ankle sprain, participated as a limited participant during Thursday practice ahead of a Week 7 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Humphrey noted that if Jackson cannot play, the Ravens are prepared to start backup quarterback Tyler Huntley.
