Knicks looking forward to seeing Mitchell Robinson — even in a Celtics jersey

The New York Knicks are preparing to face former teammate Mitchell Robinson for the first time since he signed a three-year, $47.4 million free-agent contract with the Boston Celtics. New York players Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns expressed warm feelings about reuniting with Robinson on Friday in Boston, despite the team's inability to retain him due to second-apron payroll restrictions.

Robinson spent the first eight seasons of his NBA career with the Knicks before joining Boston's starting lineup. While Knicks coach Mike Brown noted that the team is focused on competing against their former center, Robinson is scheduled to receive his championship ring and a tribute video when Boston visits Madison Square Garden on March 14.
