O'Neill bemoans marginal moments but are Celtic just not good enough? By George O'Neill BBC Sport Scotland Published 4 hours ago Three Europa League games. Three defeats for Celtic. They are 35th of 36 teams in the competition after another…

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill cited refereeing decisions and marginal moments after his side suffered a 2-1 Europa League defeat to Celta Vigo. Mika Baur gave Celtic the lead in the 47th minute before Javi Rodriguez scored twice in three minutes to turn the game around. The defeat leaves Celtic in 35th place out of 36 teams after losing their opening three Europa League matches.
Pundits James McFadden and Pat Bonner questioned the squad's European quality, arguing the Scottish champions struggle under adversity and fall short at this continental level. Celtic have conceded 14 goals during a four-match European losing streak and will host Turkish club Besiktas on November 5 in their next continental fixture.
