All four competitors in the championship bouts at UFC 333 successfully made weight ahead of Saturday's event in Abu Dhabi. Alexander Volkanovski weighed in at 144.5 pounds for his featherweight title defense against Movsar Evloev, who hit 145 pounds. Co-main event fighters Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili both stepped onto the scale at 135 pounds for their bantamweight championship trilogy bout.
The preliminary card experienced a setback when strawweight Nicolle Caliari weighed in at 120.5 pounds, missing the limit by 4.5 pounds. Caliari will forfeit 30 percent of her purse, and her matchup against Iasmin Lucindo will proceed at a catchweight. The remaining 27 fighters on the card made their respective weights without issue.
