Wallabies coach Les Kiss named a 33-man squad for the upcoming European spring tour, featuring new inclusions scrumhalf Teddy Wilson and prop Tom Lambert. Australia is scheduled to play four Tests starting November 9 against England, Scotland, Wales, and a Nations Championship opponent. Wilson, the son of 1999 World Cup winner David Wilson, was selected alongside established scrumhalves Ryan Lonergan and Tate McDermott after Kalani Thomas was sent to play with Australia A.
Overseas-based stars Taniela Tupou and Tom Hooper return to the team after missing the recent Bledisloe Cup series against New Zealand due to player release windows. Flyhalf Carter Gordon has also been included as he recovers from a fractured leg, joining Ben Donaldson and Declan Meredith in the playmaking ranks as Aidan Ross, Jock Campbell, and Harry McLaughlin-Phillips were left out.
