The New York Rangers found another way to lose on the road. Their winless streak away from Madison Square Garden…

The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the New York Rangers 5-4 on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena thanks to a late goal by Troy Stetcher. With only 27.5 seconds remaining in regulation, Stetcher scored the game-winner with Toronto's goaltender pulled on a delayed penalty. The result extended the Rangers' road winless streak to five games, dropping their away record to 0-4-1 despite Alexis Lafreniere tying the game late in the third period.
Toronto received goals from Easton Cowan, Teddy Blueger, Brandon Duhaime, Kirill Marchenko, and Stetcher, while Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 saves to earn his 459th career NHL victory. The Rangers countered with goals from Mika Zibanejad, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Tye Kartye, and Lafreniere, backed by four assists from Adam Fox and 31 saves from rookie goaltender Dylan Garand.
